Infection of the Mind
Ignorance, man's greatest vice,
rests lightly on our shoulders,
Intimate and pleasant.
A fanciful charade,
put on by a firmly rooted monster.
difficult to acknowledge,
harder still to shed,
a parasite burrowing deep
into our skulls,
our thoughts,
our beliefs.
