I Write In Flames
November 15, 2018
He strikes a match
Smoke filling the air once again
His pen fills the page yet again
The rain that once doused his fire
Has gone away
The gray clouds
Were not there to stay

This piece uses a metaphor of a match being lit once again, in the same sense that a pen is being clicked. The match in the poem is a pen in actuality, it's merely an analogy.
