Death, Night, Day, Fight, Life, Blame, Time, Spite
The Night was done as day begun
Wounded soldiers on the Run
Just to be dealt a deafening blow
A city in flames without a glow.
Soldiers falling on their knees
As few fought on to catch falling leaves.
Time grows small as each leaf falls
Losing lives with every stall
If only they'd stayed, events may have swayed
But time goes forward and must be obeyed
As sun and moon become one the same
The only question is who to blame

Death, Night, Day, Fight, Life, Blame, Time, Spite - These where the words that come to mind when I try to describe this poem, but it has meanings that even I havent discovered.
My name is Shay Lennon and i am in 10th grade going to Medway Highschool in Massachusetts. This is my first poem I have written out of desire, I really enjoyed creating this, and I beleive it is one of the most meaningful things I have ever written. My teacher recomended me to publish this here, so I guess ill give it a shot.
