What if?
What if it all just stopped?
What if everything just went away?
What if your whole world just disappeared?
You’ve finally hit rock-bottom,
Not sure what else to do.
You are now just a book on a shelf
In a forgotten library.
People just walk by not caring about
The stories you hold inside.
You made a decision that ruined your life,
Your family’s life,
Your friend’s life,
Everyone who cared about you’s life.
This is a mistake you can’t undo.
When we speak of you it’s only
Encouraging words and “Oh, how sad.”
All we think of is how we never knew.
You were bright, bubbly, and happy,
At least you seemed that way.
But hey, that’s what this
Cruel world will do.
