Forget Him
Forget his name.
Forget his face.
Forget his voice.
Forget his embrace.
Forget the way he made you feel,
Remember his feelings were never real.
Forget the words he used to say,
Remember he has gone away.
Forget the way you once were,
Remember he has chosen her.
Forget the way he made you smile,
It's best for him to be gone a while.
Forget his ways at making you laugh,
Remember this is basic math.
If you and him are added together,
It won't make things any better.
If you and him stay apart,
You can go search for the other half of your heart.
I know you think he's the one,
Which means that forgetting him means you've won.
Forget the times he called you baby,
Remember the one he's been calling that lately.
He's with her now and that won't change,
Even though forgetting him feels a little strange.
It's time to forget him along with your feelings,
And remember that love has a brand new meaning.
It's time to say goodbye to the though of him,
And remember that you aren't apart of "them".
