monet's berm MAG
summer.
you have your arms
around the sun,
your heart
swimming in the
beautyblue ocean.
languidly we live,
lonely we love.
in your eyes,
i am infinitesimal:
a fallen peach,
a dirty apple.
every other day
you speak to me:
wan words
wading in living waters.
there’s a fractiousness
inside you
but only directed toward me.
and.
and.
and
maybe if i get you in the beautyblue waters,
swimming on your back,
face to God:
a colossal kiss.
maybe then you’ll
become my romantic catastrophism
and (maybe) then i’ll let you go.
