Captured
My soul is cased in dark for centuries.
My heart is locked up for days.
My brain is reserved in a beautiful embroidered jar,
Where fate is my only hope.
My eyes are staring back at my past.
My stomach fills with tears,
Sputtering out through my mouth.
I can only think of how to be me.
My blood is taking a break,
Draining all the color out of me
I am captured.
Captured into a dark ditch.
Into a cage.
Unable to be set free.
I die inside,
Being held in forever.

This was one of the poems I wrote at the being of my writing "career" and it means a lot to me. I just thought it was cool to have a piece over how myself and other sometimes feel when in a bad situation. Sometimes being captured could also mean that they don't have that confidence in their self and tey are trying to act as another. Remember that your true self is within you and don't try to cage it within, capturing the truth forever.
