Bubble wrap
I am like glass wrapped in bubble wrap
The bubble wrap is there to protect me,
But it covers up the real value.
If you become friends with someone,
Layers are peeled away with them.
They can see the glass better than others,
But it’s a vague and distorted image.
When you are best friends with someone,
All the bubble wrap is gone.
The glass is totally bare,
But this allows it to grow stronger.
Just be careful your friend won’t drop it,
Because the glass will still shatter.
Once it shatters,
It’s not easy to put back together.
