Bulletproof Glass

Through the glass I see

Them fighting in front of children,

But I can not reach,

It is bullet proof.


I watch them scream and cry for mercy,

But all I do is stare

As their hope unravels

Into desperte, pitiful despair.


Then their stares burn me,

As they sit there, empty-

For the whole world to see,

Right in front of me.
