happiness
Happiness appears out of nowhere. She is there when a little child wakes up on Christmas morning. She is nearby when a mother gives birth to her miracle creation. Happiness soars around everyone’s life. Her bright yellow sundress flows back and forth as she walks. Her golden curls bounce as she dances with her friends. Happiness arises when an athlete wins a state championship with a team she loves. She is also there when an employee gets a big bonus or promotion. Happiness emerges when a homeless man receives food from a kind stranger. She visits when old friends reunite. She surfaces when painters locate the perfect sunset at the beach. She is within a father when he dances with his baby girl at her wedding. Happiness always triumphs against her villains, Anger, Anxiety, Sadness, and stress. Happiness shows up when her friends really need her. She always makes their day exceptional. She spreads her positive vibes anywhere she can. When a young girl’s dog dies, Happiness reassures her that all dogs go to heaven. She delivers rain showers to helpless areas in wearisome droughts. Happiness reveals to people how amazing their lives truly are, especially when they doubt it the most. Happiness is an unplanned mood booster. She can make even a rainy day seem like a dream - she will strap on her yellow rain boots and splash in the puddles, waiting for a rainbow.

This was an assignment for my English class. But, I really enjoyed writing it, so I thought I'd share it!
