Wandering
We were wandering
Through a field of flowers
Enchanted by the colors
Wasting away the hours
We were listening
and heard a deafening rumble
Our flowers began to shake
The ground began to crumble
We were watching
Our world was falling apart
The ground was giving out
While the colors lost their heart
We were falling
There was nothing to hold
And as I reached for you
You just let me go
Now I am wandering
Searching for our flowers
Trying to remember their colors
Wanting back the hours
