As you shop for those perfect Christmas presents,
Recall the importance of the past events.
For I am the angel who witnessed the glory
And must go on to tell His story.
Although we continue to celebrate Christmas,
We forget what led us to this happiness.
So I am here to help you remember
What happened in this similar December.
Our Savior was born to free us from sin,
And we continue to live out our lives like Him.
We must acknowledge the great miracle we were given
And all of the sins that were forgiven.
I come to you again as the herald of this great message
In order for more people to remember
The great occasion on every person’s calendar.
Once again I proclaim the greatness of this day
As it marks the moment when people began to find their way.
For I hope future people recollect
And treat this day with great respect.
I have great expectations for the people of today
Including that they will never forget the meaning behind Christmas Day.
