Dare to Dream
In this big, uncertain world
There's one question, it seems.
And that's if I should take a chance.
And should I dare to dream?
I seem to only fail at all
I try, and all I see
Is that I want to try again,
And always dare to dream.
For I can see the horizon!
With skies so blue, and grass so green!
Is it all not real, or should
I again dare to dream?
For I have tried and tried again
Until I want to scream.
But something pushes me on still
To want to dare to dream.
And even in my darkest hour,
With no one I can see,
I wish I could be sensible,
But no; I dare to dream.
I have to, or else what is life?
I have to try to see
A better place, a better life!
I have to dare to dream.
For there is something at the end,
How wonderful it seems!
And I will someday thank myself
That I have dared to dream.
