Search For Common Ground
Gay rights are human rights,
How can we sit and judge them?
We must stop thinking of the individual
And start thinking about what is best for society.
People can judge for what I’ve done.
And I think when somebody’s out in the public eye
I’m fully comfortable with who I am.
What I stand for
And What I’ve always stood for.
Everybody has setbacks in their life,
And everybody falls short of whatever goals
They might set for themselves.
Remember: that’s part of living
And coming to terms with who you are as a person.
I think the world would be better off
If more people were to define themselves in
Terms of their own standards and values.
And not what other people said about them
There is a sense that things,
If you keep positive and optimistic
About what can be done, do work out.
Showing up is not all of life-
But it counts for a lot.
