Elegy to love
He never looks at her anymore,
She never talks to him,
They cant seem to look each other in the eye,
They never say “I love you” anymore,
This love is gone,
This love that was once strong,
A never ending bond has broken,
Once a love to never end,
Is now a love that brakes and bends,
So this is an elegy,
An elegy to a love once lost,
A love that will never be revived,
They will never say “I love you” again,
Her eyes will no longer twinkle,
He will not want to see her heart worn on her long sleeve,
They have nothing left to lose,
And now they go their separate ways,
Hoping to find a love that always stays.
