The First
I don't seem to remember why
forgot the reasons I said goodbye
and now I sit here, feeling alone
surrounded by friends in the place I call home
and I'm not sure what to do.
I can't fight this feeling inside me
there's a gap that feels just so empty
like I forgot part of who I was
And I can't seem to ever remember because
I can never be me unless I'm with you.
But we both knew this wouldn't work
I was just a girl, you were just a jerk
so now I don't know how I should feel
I can't tell what was words and what was real
But I do know that I'm just another girl
They told me all about you, I just didn't hear
I looked to you with love when
I should've looked in fear
Because I never knew a boy could make me feel this way
But I know with time I'll learn to be okay
But you'll always be a part of my world
