They Asked Me What Peace Meant To Me broken sounds of bombing half-drowned screams bloody sky and ripped seasons melodies full of anger it makes me wonder what peace is? so what is peace to me? they ask worried faces drawn close I live in a warzone -- I don't know broken sounds of laughter half-drowned sweet scents of cooking something bloody cherries and ripped bananas laughing on top ice cream melodies full of hope it makes me struggle to remember what war was that's peace
