Let Go
I stare through tear-stained eyes at all I once knew. Watching the things I love slowly disappear. I hide not wanting to believe itÕs really true. How do I let go of all I once held dear. Afraid to let go, scared to loosen my grasp. Not wanting to say goodbye to yesterday. But knowing I need to let go of the past. I must begin to go a new way. Its time for me to let go Step into the unknown Let go of all I know And start again on my own So, I will begin anew. No longer will I fight. Because itÕs what I must do. I whisper goodbye as all gradually fades from sight.
