That day seems so clear
That day seems so clear as though I'm looking at it through a transparency. My long, white dress with pearly buttons was so pure and innocent. How was I supposed to know the one single day of my life I wore it would be one of the most important? The fabric was so soft and gentle- perfect for being baptized in. It glows with the compassion and love like that in Eugene's face. That day was so beautiful it made my little rain cloud diminish like cares on a summer's breeze. A joyful, calm, and so very spiritual feeling comes to mind with the dress that just hangs in the back of my closet. Now I can pass it on to my daughters.
