The boy behind the Mask
Everyone has a story but mine is much more dramatic
It has no happy ending, princesses nor any types of magic
Its about a boy and a girl that loved each other
Far past friends, family and even lovers
Or so the boy thought,
She soon found another he felt that the love had been forgot
It rained on his heart as he tried to give it to her
It turned out that she had been a great golfer
For she only touched his heart with the sole of her feet
She had to be golfing
Because she stomped it with cleats
She chased another to trade the boy in
For a selfish lover
His heart had been squashed
And his heart twisted and tossed
He left his heart soaked and smashed
And discovered a mask
It felt no pain only joy and laughter
Because he felt his heart could only bring disaster
He felt like a man that felt no fear anger or strife
This was the mask that now controls his life
