The Fly
March 11, 2010
The buzz in my ear makes it hard to write./The fly just won't leave me alone right now./I've got to get this homework done tonight./i try ti swat it and my hand goes POW!/My punch can't get the fly out of my face./I hit it with the curtain made of lace./From its spot I see it begin to leap./It continues to fly around the room./I can't get it to stand still and I move./I wait patiently then I grab the broom./The fly is about to die very soon./I go to hit it, then I think./But soon I look and it's gone in a blink.
