Pulling Strings MAG
"Go here, and there."
"Do this, and that."
"Arms up,
now down!"
They jerked her
in every direction
like spoiled children
fighting over a
Puppet,
until the strings broke,
and they watched
as she came to life,
stood alone, and
Danced
to a rhythm
that she had
found all for
Herself.
Like a jumbled wooden
Puppet,
now without strings,
they were
Horrified
when she could
act on her own
and choose for
Herself.
