A Second Chance MAG
Back in the time when knights were bold,
when things were made of gold,
when people trusted the wisdom of the old,
lived a boy who was almost a man,
able to fight and make a stand
riding a horse of a light-colored tan.
He left his horse to travel the land.
He met a man who changed his life,
the man showed him how to use a knife.
Soon he married and had a wife.
She became ill and eventually died.
The young man sat alone in the room.
While he sat, he thought and cried,
filled with frustration and dark heavy gloom.
He soon left to travel again,
thinking his journey was long and would never end.
As he got older he began to wonder,
how he got into such a blunder.
It started to rain and thunder.
He looked but couldn't find cover.
So he rode as fast as he could
and soon found shelter as he knew he would.
He met a young woman and married again.
His life became happy, so this is where I'll end.
