Untitled MAG
The man on the moon
invisible to us
he hides in her craters
he swims in her dry seas
her dust coats him,
and he runs
silent
across her curves
to the dark side
where he sits and stares
across the stars
into other galaxies
into other moons
his own being a dull bead
rolling around a magnificent
blue green goddess
and he wonders
as his bare feet are cut once again
on the sharp moon-stones,
as the harsh hot winds
make his eyes water,
if the vapory cloud planet
or the gleaming moons in the distance
are as cold and lonely
and aching as his.
