Weak Knees
You get a weak feeling in your knees.
You don't know what to say or what to do.
It feels like the whole world is looking at you, waiting for you to do something.
You don't wanna look dumb, but you don't wanna say something dumb either.
Why do two minutes mean so much to you this time? When 10 minutes from now when you're not in this situation you'll think of two minutes as being 2 seconds.
It happens every time.
When will it stop?
Maybe never, but maybe that's a good thing.
It'll keep you on your toes.
But you like that feeling, that weakness in your knees.
& the feeling that you get when you're making a speech.
Don't worry, the whole world is full of people that get nervous just like you too.
You just have to remember that, even if you conquer this nervousness of yours, you might still feel it again one day, not in front of a crowd, but in front of just one person.
Maybe you'll get lucky enough to get that weak feeling in your knees once more.
