The First Hill
It was a cold, sunny winter day in Minnesota. There were new white, small snowflakes falling to the ground. I am going to Afton Ski Alps, I was so excited and my butt was jumping up and down on my seat. Finally, my family was at Afton, ski heaven to me. I get my ski stuff out and put on my black ski boots. Then I go outside and I feel the cold air on my face. I put on my white skis and I go to the first ski lift of the day and my sister Isabel comes along too. We are ready to go on, then we go on and it’s like I am on the sky ride at the Minnesota State Fair. You can see everything up here; trees and whit hills are everywhere where I can see. Then we come off the ski lift and we skied to the very top of a hill and it is so steep! I was so nervous then my sister went down. I had to go and whoosh! I went down so fast, and it was so much fun. I was so happy I skied down that huge hill and I wanted to go again.
