The Perfect Day
I pedal hard, my legs tired from the long bike ride. But it seems inevitable, as I could not have NOT gone for a ride on a day like this. The Autumn air surrounds me, pleasing my nose with scents of pumpkin pie and damp leaves. A light drizzle falls and dew forms on the grassy meadows around me, and a large cluster of birds flutter out of a tree in the distance. My breath comes out in visible puffs, as the wintry air falls from the heavens. My hair whisps out behind me as I begin to gain speed down a hill. The drizzle becomes a heavy rain, I hop off my bike and look into the skies, ready for a drink of the purest water. I close my eyes and bask in the beauty of the Perfect Day.
