darkness
Are you scared of the dark? Well then, you would never want to enter my mind. To many outsiders my mind would seem tortured and frightening. Many people would say I have the mind of a depressed or mentally insane person. To me my mind is a beautiful thing in its own way.
For a while now it feels as though no light has shone through the darkness in which I call my mind. Many normal people would be terrified to step into my mind. A mind that dreams about darkness and death. Many people say they are afraid of thunderstorms…well my mind is a continuous thunderstorm. It never stops and it never goes away. The clouds never clear and the rain never stops. It is always dreary and beautiful in my mind. I can try to hide it, but it always comes out.
Some days I wish it would just stop and go away, then I remember….I like the dark.
