Madison
Oh, how she missed her friend. How she yearned for the old days--when they roomed together at every event, were inseparable, stayed up until all hours of the night, whispering secrets back and forth. She missed the surety, the certainty of those times, and the steady weight of Madison at her back. She missed knowing who would hold her when everything was too much, and it all came tumbling out at once, when she was unable to control the torrent of thoughts that kept her awake at night. She missed having someone she could weep, not cry with. She missed her best friend. She missed Madison.
