Music impacts
The definition of a microphone is “an instrument for converting sound waves, which may then be amplified, transmitted, or recorded” but, to me, it means a lot more. You can guess about my personality from my object that I like to sing. I am good at singing and I like the way it makes other people happy as well as myself. Singing and music has been a big impact in my life because everyday I am practicing something within music and I work really hard. I believe in my microphone because it has really impacted my life and my family.
My microphone is gray. It has a rounded top and has a small dent on the side of it. Even though there are probably hundreds and thousands of microphones that look a lot like this microphone, this one is really important to me. This microphone I have had for years and I practice with it everyday. All the hard work I have done with this microphone got me to singing national anthems for games and in an advanced choir class. I even did my first cover on this microphone. I use it everyday and in a way it has shaped me to who I am today.
I work hard with music on my microphone everyday. It has shaped me to who I am today because before I got it, I just sang to myself and didn’t really work towards anything. When I first sang on it to my family though, I thought it was amazing. I remember seeing my family smile and sing along and tell me how talented I was.
In a way I feel like my microphone has impacted my family too. My family encourages and helps me all the time with my singing. Even when I go through put-downs they encourage me to keep going. Sometimes my parents and granndparents will even take time off of work to help me get to where I want to be. Their hard work as well as mine has paid off though. Because of their help I got to sing on stage for the first time in California and I am working my way up bit by bit with them. I believe in my microphone because it has impacted and shaped me and my family a big way.
