Should middle school students get less homework? Of course, it is proven that middle school students with less homework tend to get more sleep and better test scores.I have been talking to middle schools students and they say they have been swamped with homework. So with that being said, cut back homework.
When you get home from school and maybe you have chores, and you have homework.Homework is one of the worst things in the world.Maybe you play sports and you won't get home until 6? Sometimes you will stay up to 11 or 12. 
School at times can be very stressful. And if you have ever been in middle school you know what I am talking about. There are lots of tests and clubs and sports, and sometimes you just don’t remember to do your homework, and if you forget to do your homework that could effect if you play sports or are allowed to be in certain clubs.
School can be one of the best things, but if you procrastinate and don't do your work it can be the worst. There was a study in 2011 that says that 70% of kids in middle school procrastinate on the school work. One middle school student commented about this and said, ‘I procrastinate sometimes and things never go well’. So in conclusion teachers should give us less work.
