always treat someone like its their last day on earth
September
My Aunt Ashleigh was eight months pregnant with a baby boy. It was already decided his name was going to be Cameron. I just couldn’t waitanymore, I wanted him to be here already and my aunt was really cranky from being pregnant, (which I heard was normal) but I just couldn’t wait for him to be born and for her to be normal again.
October
It was a nice sunny day and I was extremely happy because my aunt was in the hospital delivering my cute baby cousin Cameron that I’ve been waiting for, for 9 months. The rest of the family was sitting in the waiting room, talking, and watching TV and of course me, I was very impatient so I asked my mom to go check if my aunt was done yet. My mom got up and went to go check and she said that my aunt was done and I said thank the lord. Cameron was born on October 23rd and he was the cutest thing I ever saw.
November
The whole family got together for thanksgiving; we did it at my mom’s house. We all sat there and listened to music, ate delicious food, and we had so much fun. I had fun because I got to hold Cameron, I got to hold him for only 10 minutes though (which ruined my thanksgiving) because either my aunt took him because he was crying or he was sleeping, so I just gave up on trying to hold him.
December
I was so happy that the whole family was together for Christmas and I got to see Cameron. We technically did the same thing we did on thanksgiving except we opened presents and I actually got to hold Cameron longer this time. He is so adorable, and he held one of my fingers while I rubbed his soft, little hand.
January
My mom and I were sound asleep and we got an unwelcomed phone call my aunt saying “Cameron’s in the hospital.” My mom started crying and said “We are on our way there.” So my mom and I rushed up to Spectrum Health and I was just sitting there because I didn’t know what was going on. When we got up to the hospital everyone’s eyes were really red, I asked my mom what happened and she said Cameron died, so then I started freaking out, crying and then my aunt showed me the room. I went and talked to him then I rubbed his hand and said “it will never be good bye it will always be cya later.” Then I walked out the room and my mom was waiting there and she gave me a nice big comforting hug and said to me “its ok god did this for a reason” and then I said “at least I gave him a kiss and a chance to rub his hand”.
