Where I'm From
I am from my journals from pens that touch paper
No pencils,
I prefer not to erase
I am from up above God’s creation
I like to think I’m here for a demonstration
I am from growing up not knowing my daddy
Scarred badly given the chance to be with him made me happy
I’m from the long lost tears hidden and replaced with razors blades
I’m from a dream of my own office as a big time writer
I won’t quit till I reach higher
I’m from a small closet next to my bedroom
Door alone as I hear rain hit my floor rain is made for plants to grow
Isolation for me turned comfortable
I am from acting; I use the technique to not be seen freely
I do for others instead of myself
In return realizing I’m not well
I’m from a bumpy road; all I’m trying to do is make it home
Back to the moments when I’ve felt alive
