Tears
Laughing and smiling like it's a joke, prodding and pinching and starting to poke, cold voices colored with mighty scorn my response is tired hurt and worn, "Please go away," I plead pitifully, "Leave me alone so I can be free", "Not a chance," they holler and sneer my chest fills with a sudden fear. The tears flood into my eyes my sad and pain filled lonesome cries, they enjoy it oh so much, anything can shatter me even a touch.
