My Tiny Friend Group
My friend group is not very big, I only hang out with 3 different people and one of them is my boyfriend. I don't talk to many people mostly because I don't want to. I don't like talking to people that are stuck up and that are rude to other people for no reason. My friend group is really small and it's going to stay that way… now let me tell you why.
Number one, whenever you bring a new person into the group, someone always has issues with it. Someone always is mad at the other person, and someone is always jealous when this happens.
Number two, if the said person coming into the group is a girl we always have to make sure to set boundaries with her so she doesn't try anything. There are no relationships in the group except if they are already dating before the group forms. Therefore, a new girl entering the group can not date a single man in the group. This leads to drama and we don't like drama in our little group.
Number three, just because our group is small does not mean we don't have fun. Many people always say “you don't have any friends, what do you do with your life”. First off I have plenty of friends, second, off we find things to do all the time, and third, off I Love my tiny group and wouldn't trade it for anything. We will do our thing while you do yours.
Number four, My friends can have other friends but they are not welcome to take you away from the tiny circle of friendship. Yes go have fun with them but there is never going to be a day where you would rather hang out with your other friends than with us. This causes drama because people in our tiny group get jealous and feel like our tiny world is falling apart.
Number five (last part), No friends can talk bad about other people in the group. This is only if you will also say it to their face. If you say something rude about one of the friends in our tiny group it may slip out one day from another person. So that would cause drama because one friend in our tiny group is being rude to another friend.
This is our set of rules that we keep in our tiny friend group so that we can all stay friends long term. This tiny friend group is perfect because we set the rules and not many people can break them. Sometimes they do get broken but we just fix them right away. Even our rules cant keep a tiny friend group happy sometimes… Just imagine a huge friend group and all the many problems they have. No, No, No. I feel like having a really big friend group can end up in many pieces and people can get hurt. So this is why we keep our tiny rules for our tiny friend group.
