Disconnected

Logging into zoom was seismically difficult, the wifi never worked, and I always looked like I was mid-nap.

Walking into school is seismically scary, I always have a pimple, and the stares follow you.

I walk in with the courage of a tiger, and immediately repulse at the smell of intermingling perfume and Axe.

This smell presages the rest of the school day. I know I should turn back.

But my soul and my legs slog through the halls, screaming for an opportunity to leave.

Four more weeks

28 more days

And then my legs my soul my heart my brain

Fly free.
