Review Essay
So one night I was scrolling through songs to add to my playlist, and I came across an artist named Bryce Vive and I said to myself why not I'll check him out and see if I like him. Well, I did, and now I have a playlist dedicated just for his songs. My favorite one of his albums is called Lazy Fair. I think that Bryce Vines's album Lazy Fair was really good and I don't dislike a song in the album. Lazy Fair was released in 2014, and since then the album has had more than four hundred million hits.
The album only has six songs: Welcome to Lazy Fair, Sour Patch Kids, Where The Wild Things Are, Guilty Pleasure, Take Me Home, and My Holiday. Out of the six songs on the album, Sour Patch Kids is my favorite. I love the song because it talks about summer as a kid. The song has really good lyrics and an even better beat.
Another song that I like from the album is called Guilty Pleasure. Guilty Pleasure; is a song about Bryce Vines life, and how he doesn't regret anything that he's done like stated in the song “ I ain't proud of all of it but id do it all again cause its all been hella fun I can't give a f*ck I'm just living like so what.” Guilty pleasure is the second most popular song on the album behind Sour Patch Kids.
My third favorite song on the album is called My Holiday. My Holiday is about needing a break, from the hard work of making music as stated in the song “I'm wiped out but I'm ready to go. Take a brief intermission then it's on with the show.” I personally relate to this song, and I think that a lot of people do because everyone needs a vacation.
In conclusion, I think that Bryce Vines's album Lazy Fair was an extremely good album with very few things I dislike. I would highly recommend listening to a couple of the songs that I have suggested; or the entire album. Every song on the album is a good song; I got a couple more songs on my playlists and I hope you did too.
