2021 Kindness Contest, Helping a Local School
In the modern age people are helping out of the kindness of their heart less and less. But although rare, it still happens.
One example of this recently happened to my sister. She was student teaching and noticed that the classroom barely had any books. She immediately started looking for books at bookstores, yard sales, and libraries that she could get on her limited budget.
Eventually, a local resident took notice of what was happening. They proceeded to collect and subsequently donate over 50 children’s books to help my sister in her quest to give books to the children she helped teach.
