My Name Essay
In Scotland, My name is from the Gaelic word Lagan or Lag which means Little Hollow. In Ireland, it was a surname that evolved from O’leoghain meaning Descendant of the warrior. It’s a popular name in Scotland and Canada. Eventually, the name was used as a first name instead of just being a surname.
If my name was a color it would be orange because some of my family members were red-heads. Some of my grandparents were red-heads too.
My family says that there is nobody in the family that has the same name as me. My grandparents don’t know anyone with the same name as me. My name is very rare because there are not a lot of them but they are still growing in popularity.
When I was born, My brother Jacob wanted to call me Chocolate. My Parents rejected that idea because that would be a weird name for a child.
It took my parents a long time to pick the right name for me. Eventually, My parents agreed to call me Logan.
