The Room
The room was filled with exquisite furniture; she literally drowned in its beauty. Victorian chairs and couches, a giant crystal chandelier, a hand carved coffee table, and pretty printed drapes. This was the girl’s grandmother’s house who died in the past year. The girl was remembering the good times when her grandmother was alive. Tea parties, telling stories, and playing the piano were things that they enjoyed doing.
The girl walked around the room remembering these things and looked into the mirror. She saw the spirit of her grandmother. “Now is your time…” the spirit whispered and dragged the girl into the mirror.
